Located in the town of Samoens in the French Alps, just one hour from Geneva, chalet sougey provides chalets and apartments to the huge and largely undiscovered grand massif ski area.Our chalet in Samoens is a beautifully renovated alpine farmhouse on the banks of the river Giffre, split into 3 very spacious self catered apartments. The chalet is serviced by the free ski bus which stops right outside the front door and takes you direct to the Samoens gondola. This runs throughout the day and means there is literally no walk to the lifts! Should you decide to drive then we also have masses of parking at the chalet. See more on Samoens here.
The Grand Massif ski area which covers Samoens, Morillon, Sixt, Les Carroz and Flaine boasts over 265km of pistes and 80 lifts, with an excellent snow record and lifts from 700 -2600m. Samoens is equally beautiful in the summer, with a huge range of mountain activities on offer.
Our chalet offers a choice of 3 apartments, transfers from/to Geneva airport for up to 8 people at a time, cheap ski and board hire from our friend in town (planete glisse), and flexible catering, so you just need to worry about the flights! We can also help organise lessons and passes.
